Learning Disabilities Study Skills Handbooks
Each study skills handbook includes twenty important study skills in a booklet form. Each skill is presented as a full page.
The handbooks can be used in two ways.
- As introductory study skills lessons using the free Teacher’s Manual PDF
available for each guide. - As a study skills reference source for students to carry with them throughout school.
The content of these handbooks is similar to the content of our standard study skills guides. What is different are the following four features designed to meet the special needs of learning disabled and struggling students:
- Lower readability level.
- Higher degree of structure.
- Fewer visual distractions.
- 8 1/2 by 11 for easy reading.
IMPORTANT: The terms "learning disabled" and "struggling students" do not appear on the cover or pages of these handbooks. This eliminates any possible stigma.
