The DVD presents interviews with leading national experts, students, and their parents. It is divided into eight informative sections.
Section One: Know Thyself
This section helps your child develop awareness of his or her strengths and weaknesses as a learner as well as the strategies that he or she has used to succeed through the school years.
Section Two: The Continuum of Support
This section familiarizes you and your child with the accommodations and different types of support available in college, including services that colleges must provide for students with a documented learning disability.
Section Three: Portraits of Programs for Students with Learning Challenges
This section presents profiles of colleges that provide comprehensive programs for students with learning challenges. These programs go far beyond the accommodations and support services required by law.
